Welcome

yoga02Yoga and Tai Chi are ancient arts, the one coming from India and the other from China, that have long been known as sources of physical, mental, and emotional health and well being. That is why they are practiced by millions around the world today.

You are probably more familiar with Yoga than with Tai Chi. Yoga is distinguished by its peaceful poses, and is sometimes described as meditation in stillness. Tai Chi is distinguished by its gentle, fluid movements, and is sometimes described as mediation in motion. Whichever you choose to practice, you will find a number of good things happening to you. Just to name a few:

  • Stress relief
  • Inner quietnessCheng Man-Ching 134
  • Increased energy
  • Greater self-awareness
  • Greater awareness of people and things around you
  • Physical strength and flexibility

Who wouldn’t want more of these things in their life? Like all things worthwhile, they don’t come without some effort on your part. But you will be surprised by how little effort is required to get started on a new journey toward better health and well being.
